We are looking for a Thai national yacht captain for a 50ft gulf craft for immediate hiring here in Abu Dhabi. He must have RYA 2 and STCW 95 Certificates with minimum experience as described below: Yacht Captain job duties: • Control the operation of the yacht when underway; • Ensure the boat runs safely, efficiently and economically; • Understand all boat equipment, including trouble shooting, operation and fixing; • Daily activities include obtaining weather briefing, assisting in planning the day’s itinerary; • Required to work odd hours, followed by time off; • Works closely with the owner and guests, and has a comprehensive understanding of their needs; • Attend to jet skis, tender boat, and any marine equipment related to yacht. Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Captain • Above average English communication skills • Excellent boat handling and navigational skills • Excellent maintenance and technical/troubleshooting experience • Must possess vigilant attitude to ensure that safety procedures are followed. • Must have proper license/certificate and documentation for the size of the vessel in his command
