Initially, I began teaching my children as a homeschool alternative. In conjunction with homeschooling, I tutored neighborhood children in elementary reading and math. I was a Teacher's assistant to a Middle School Math teacher, and later progressed to a Remedial Math teacher in high school. The majority of my teaching experience [21 years] is at a private academy where I taught 1st grade to 5th grade. I have 11 years of experience as a 4th grade teacher. Furthermore, I served as a Lead Teacher's assistant in Indianapolis at the corporate office on site Day Care for Lilly's Pharmaceuticals.
