Hello. My name is Nick and I am a trained Graphic designer graduated with HNC (Higher National Certificate). I have enjoyed several years experience editing images and drawing up pictures using photoshop. The pictures I work on can be anything from family photos that need restoring, to designing greeting cards or even creating an original film/movie montage which I can then render into full colour artwork. This has long been my passion.
I welcome any requests regarding the above.
I can do quick basic re-touching, and I can do creative photo manipulations. On the latter I can also input creative concepts and ideas during the initial stages of the editing process.
I have high technical proficiency in Photoshop. I have proven experience of retouching product photography, fashion photography and creative editorial images. I have working experience as image editor/retoucher within a company. (see CV) I have a degree in a visual arts-related discipline.
Apart from re-touching, I also understand the industrial demands for key-wording, tagging, captioning, file-size specifications, masking, colour profiling, sharpening, transferring digital images by means of online servers and print.

My apptitude for photo editing developed whilst studying the work of John Heartfield at artschool. By adapting some of his ideas and techniques into my own work i learned what a powerful tool photoshop really was. Later when working at an independent photography retailer one of my duties was photo restoration. I was able to use my drawing skills to repair missing sections such as hands and foliage, achieving results that literally wowed customers and my employer alike.
Photo editing is one of my skills, I love photography and editing pictures to make it more flawless and creative. However I only does it during my free time. I am actually looking for a part time job so I can earn some living expenses, if you can help then please drop me an mail. Much appreciated!
It started off with website design and progressed to image editing - oh and a handful of fantastic cameras don't go amiss!

I am an experimental photographer and graphic designer from Somerset, England, and use sue a wide variety and techniques and subject matter, there's little I won't do. My work is usually based on creating graphic pieces by using my photography to make typefaces and texture.
A levels in Photography, Graphic Design and Psychology and currently completing an Art, Design and Media Foundation Degree.
Began photo retouching when I founded a Photography business with a partner, believing my only strength would be involved in the business area. I discovered I had the skills to do photo retouching and haven't stopped since. I have been doing photo retouching for 5 years now.
The canvas we use is a high quality art canvas designed for fine art canvas prints. The 100% cotton product has a natural feel and refined weave, to give a high quality finish and excellent colour reproduction. It has a natural warm white colour and matt finish. Our canvas is water resistant, and has good resistance to edge cracking and abrasion.
The Canvas is stretched over smooth Fir stretcher bars which are lightweight and strong 38mm wooden frames which are more less likely to warp than 'normal' Pine stretcher bars.
As essential in todays 'centrally heated' environment all our stretcher bars are kiln dried to an 8% or less moisture content - The less moisture left in the stretcher bars the less likely the Canvas will warp
have a look through my facebook photos, most of them are edited slightly, some of them quite a lot. i dont use photo shop, i like to use light room. i feel its more honest. i dont like to over work the image at all. i can professionally edit as many photos as you like for £1.50 a photo. i would like to except a minimum of 15 photos for editing.
I've taught myself how to photo edit by using two programmes mostly; 'Photoscape' and 'GIMP'. I mostly fiddle around with lighting/contrast/sherpening, that sort of thing, as well as airbrushing, fitting two or more pictures together, altering pictures as well as creating logos and other designs.
