These Terms and Conditions of Use govern our relationship with all SkillPages Users and others who interact with SkillPages.

Access to the SkillPages Website and the use of information on the SkillPages website is subject these Terms and Conditions of Use. You should carefully read these Terms and Conditions of Use. By proceeding further, using or accessing SkillPages you will be deemed to have accepted them. By accessing, viewing, downloading or otherwise using SkillPages or any webpage or feature available through SkillPages, any information provided as part of the SkillPages services, or any related emails, newsletters or services (hereinafter collectively “SkillPages” or the “Services”), or by clicking “Register with SkillPages” during the registration process, you conclude a legally binding agreement with SkillPages Holdings Limited, Block 9 Blackrock Business Park, Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland (“SkillPages”) based on the Terms and Conditions of Use of this SkillPages User Agreement (“Agreement”) and become a SkillPages User (“User”).

Your privacy is very important to us. We designed our Privacy Policy to make important disclosures about how you can use SkillPages to share with others and how we collect and can use your content and information. We encourage you to read the Privacy Policy, and to use it to help make informed decisions. You should read the SkillPages Terms and Conditions of Use in conjunction with the SkillPages Privacy Policy.

1. DEFINITIONS
   1. By “SkillPages” we mean the platform, platform features, services and search facilities we make available, including through (a) the SkillPages website at www.skillpages.com and any other SkillPages branded or co-branded websites (including sub-domains, international versions, widgets, and mobile versions); (b) our Platform; and (c) other media, software, devices, or networks now existing or later developed.
   2. By “Us,” “We” and “Our” we mean SkillPages Holdings Limited. A company incorporated in the Republic of Ireland with registered company number 462588 with registered offices at Block 9, Blackrock Business Park, Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland, our employees, directors and shareholders.
   3. By “Platform” we mean the SkillPages Platform and a set of APIs and services that enable applications, developers, operators or services, including RSS feeds, to retrieve data from SkillPages or provide data to us.
   4. By “Information” we mean facts and other information about you, including actions you take.
   5. By “Content” we mean anything you post on SkillPages that would not be included in the definition of “information.”
   6. By “Data” we mean content and information that third parties can retrieve from SkillPages or provide to SkillPages.
   7. By “Post” we mean post on SkillPages or otherwise make available to us (such as by using an application).
   8. By “Use” we mean use, access, view, download, upload, copy, publicly perform or display, distribute, modify, translate, and create derivative works of.
   9. By “Users” we mean a User(s) who is/are not registered with the SkillPages Platform and we mean a User(s) who is/are registered with the SkillPages Platform.
   10. By “Application” we mean any application or website that uses or accesses the SkillPages Platform, as well as anything else that receives data.
   11. By “Services” we mean searching for User Profiles on the SkillPages Platform and advertising updates and services along with SkillPages products, SkillPages software, SkillPages services and the SkillPages website.
2. ACCESSIBILITY AND AVAILABILITY OF ALL USER CONTENT AND INFORMATION
   1. We collect information in relation to Users. The information that we collect facilitates the purpose of the SkillPages Platform. Users are not required to register with the SkillPages Platform to access information on the SkillPages Platform and as such SkillPages may not have any control over how Users use the information. In order to create a User Profile on the SkillPages Platform Users are required to register with the SkillPages Platform.
   2. When you add an application and use the SkillPages Platform, your content and information is shared with the application. We require applications to respect your privacy settings, but your agreement with that application will control how the application can use the content and information you share.
   3. When you delete content, it is deleted in a manner similar to emptying the recycle bin on a computer. However, you understand that removed content may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time (but will not be available to others).
3. REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT SECURITY

   SkillPages Users provide their real names and information in order to facilitate the purpose of the SkillPages Platform. Here are some commitments you make to us relating to registering and maintaining the security of your account:

   1. You will not provide any false personal information on the SkillPages Platform, or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission;
   2. You will not use the SkillPages Platform if you are under the age of 14;
   3. You will not use the SkillPages Platform if you are a convicted sex offender;
   4. You will keep your User Profile details accurate and up-to-date;
   5. You will not share your password, let anyone else access your account, or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your account;
   6. You will not transfer your account to anyone without first getting our written permission;
   7. If you select a username for your account we reserve the right to remove or reclaim it if we believe appropriate (such as when a trademark owner complains about a username that does not closely relate to a User's actual name);
   8. You are not a direct competitor of SkillPages;
   9. No User may copy, transfer or use any names, photos, links, text, data or other content belonging to or posted by SkillPages or its Users for the purpose of selling, engaging in, marketing or promoting any other product or service. Illegal and/or unauthorized uses of the Website, including collecting usernames, email addresses or other personally identifiable information of registered Users by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email, unauthorized framing of or linking to the Website or any other use not expressly permitted in this Agreement, will be investigated and appropriate legal action will be taken, including, without limitation, civil, criminal and injunctive redress. In addition to the above restrictions, you may not authorize, enable or otherwise grant to any other person, organization, company or business access to your SkillPages User Profile or other content uploaded on the Website for the purpose of extracting such information or other content;
   10. Each individual User Profile includes personal information about the User.
4. YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH SKILLPAGES
   1. Your use of SkillPages products, SkillPages software, SkillPages services and the SkillPages website (referred to collectively as the “Services” in this document and excluding any services provided to you by SkillPages under a separate written agreement) is subject to the terms of a legal agreement between you and SkillPages. “SkillPages” means SkillPages Holdings Limited, registered offices at Block 9, Blackrock Business Park, Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland.

   2. Accepting the Terms and Conditions of Use

      In order to use the SkillPages Platform and use the SkillPages Services, you must firstly agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use. You may not use the Services if you do not accept these Terms and Conditions of Use.

   3. You can accept the Terms and Conditions of Use by:
      1. clicking to accept or agree to the Terms and Conditions of Use, where this option is made available to you by SkillPages in the User interface for any Service; or
      2. by actually using the Services. In this case, you understand and agree that SkillPages will treat your use of the Services as acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Use from that point onwards;
   4. You may not use the Services and may not accept the Terms and Conditions of Use if (a) you are not of legal age to form a binding contract with SkillPages, or (b) you are a person barred from receiving the Services under the laws of the Republic of Ireland or other countries including the country in which you are resident or from which you use the Services, or (c) if you are not 14 years or older;
   5. Before you continue, you should print off or save a local copy of the Terms and Conditions of Use for your records;
   6. SkillPages is constantly innovating in order to provide the best possible experience for its Users. You acknowledge and agree that the form and nature of the Services which SkillPages provides may change from time to time without prior notice to you;
   7. As part of this continuing innovation, you acknowledge and agree that SkillPages may stop (permanently or temporarily) providing the Services (or any features within the Services) to you or to Users generally at SkillPages's sole discretion, without prior notice to you. You may stop using the Services at any time. You do not need to specifically inform SkillPages when you stop using the Services;
   8. You acknowledge and agree that if SkillPages disables access to your account, you may be prevented from accessing the Services, your account details or any files or other content which is contained in your account;
   9. You acknowledge and agree that while SkillPages may not currently have set a fixed upper limit on the number of transmissions you may send or receive through the Services or on the amount of storage space used for the provision of any service, such fixed upper limits may be set by SkillPages at any time, at SkillPages's discretion.
5. USE OF THE SERVICES BY YOU
   1. All Users have access to all SkillPages User Profiles. Users are not required to register with SkillPages to access the information that is posted to the SkillPages website. In certain instances Users have the option to register with SkillPages. All Users agree that any registration information you give to SkillPages will always be accurate, correct and up to date.
   2. You agree to use the SkillPages Platform only for purposes that are permitted by (a) the Terms and Conditions of Use and (b) any applicable law, regulation or generally accepted practices or guidelines in the relevant jurisdictions (including any laws regarding the export of data or software to and from the Republic of Ireland or other relevant countries).
   3. You agree not to access (or attempt to access) any of the Services by any means other than through the interface that is provided by SkillPages.
   4. You agree that you will not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Services (or the servers and networks which are connected to the Services).
   5. You agree that you will not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade or resell any of the information on the SkillPages Platform for any purpose.
   6. You agree that you are solely responsible for (and that SkillPages has no responsibility to you or to any third party for) any breach of your obligations under the Terms and Conditions of Use and for the consequences (including any loss or damage which SkillPages may suffer) of any such breach.
   7. You agree that you will not send or otherwise post unauthorized commercial communications (such as spam) on the SkillPages Platform.
   8. You will not collect Users' content or information, or otherwise access the SkillPages Platform, using automated means (such as harvesting bots, robots, spiders, or scrapers) without our permission.
   9. You will not engage in unlawful multi-level marketing, such as a pyramid scheme, on the SkillPages Platform.
   10. You will not upload viruses or other malicious code.
   11. You will not solicit login information or access an account belonging to someone else.
   12. You will not bully, intimidate, or harass any User.
   13. You will not post content that is hateful, libellous, slanderous, defaming, threatening, pornographic, or that contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.
   14. You will not develop or operate a third party application containing or advertise or otherwise market alcohol-related or other mature content without appropriate age-based restrictions.
   15. You will not offer any contest, giveaway, or sweepstakes ("promotion") on SkillPages without our prior written consent. If we consent, you take full responsibility for the promotion, and will follow our Promotions Guidelines and all applicable laws.
   16. You will not use the SkillPages Platform to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory.
   17. You will not do anything that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper working of the SkillPages Platform, such as a denial of service attack.
   18. You will not facilitate or encourage any violations of this Statement
6. YOUR PASSWORDS AND ACCOUNT SECURITY
   1. You agree and understand that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords associated with your User account registration to use to access your User Profile.
   2. Accordingly, you agree that you will be solely responsible to SkillPages for all activities that occur under your account.
   3. If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your password or of your account, you agree to notify SkillPages immediately.
   4. Login details – SkillPages will store the User's access details so that when a registered User logs in and accesses the SkillPages Platform SkillPages may offer the User the option to sync their contacts. SkillPages will ask the User to consent to having their contacts synched. If you do not wish to have your contacts synched please unselect the synch button.
   5. SkillPages reserves the right to remove, edit, move or close any account for any reason and to suspend or ban any User account for any reason.
   6. You understand that all information (such as data files, written text, computer software, music, audio files or other sounds, photographs, videos or other images) which you may have access to as part of, or through your use of, the Services are the sole responsibility of the person from which such content originated. All such information is referred to above as the “Content”.
   7. You should be aware that Content presented to you as part of the SkillPages search facility, including but not limited to User Profiles, advertisements in the Services and sponsored Content within the Services may be protected by intellectual property rights which are owned by the sponsors or advertisers who provide that Content to SkillPages (or by other persons or companies on their behalf). You may not modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute or create derivative works based on this Content (either in whole or in part) unless you have been specifically told that you may do so by SkillPages or by the owners of that Content, in a separate agreement.
   8. SkillPages reserves the right (but shall have no obligation) to pre-screen, review, flag, filter, modify, refuse or remove any or all Content from any Service. For some of the Services, SkillPages may provide tools to filter out explicit sexual content. There are commercially available services and software to limit access to material that you may find objectionable.
   9. You understand that by using the SkillPages Platform you may be exposed to Content that you may find offensive, indecent or objectionable and that, in this respect, you use the SkillPages Platform at your own risk.
   10. You agree that you are solely responsible for (and that SkillPages has no responsibility to you or to any third party for) any Content that you create, transmit or display while using the SkillPages Platform and for the consequences of your actions (including any loss or damage which SkillPages may suffer) by doing so.
7. OTHER PEOPLE'S RIGHTS
   1. We respect other people's rights, and expect you to do the same.
   2. You will not post content or take any action on the SkillPages Platform that infringes or violates someone else's rights or otherwise violates the law.
   3. SkillPages can remove any content or information you post on the SkillPages Platform if we believe that it violates this Statement.
   4. If you repeatedly infringe other people's intellectual property rights, we will disable your account when appropriate.
   5. You will not use our copyrights or trademarks (including SkillPages, the SkillPages and “SP” Logos) or any confusingly similar marks, without our written permission.
   6. If you collect information from Users, you will: obtain their consent, make it clear you (and not SkillPages) are the one collecting their information, and post a privacy policy explaining what information you collect and how you will use it.
   7. You will not post anyone's identification documents or sensitive financial information on the SkillPages Platform.
8. PROPRIETARY RIGHTS
   1. You acknowledge and agree that SkillPages owns all legal right, title and interest in and to the SkillPages Platform, including any intellectual property rights which subsist in the SkillPages Platform (whether those rights happen to be registered or not, and wherever in the world those rights may exist).
   2. You agree that nothing in the Terms and Conditions of Use gives you a right to use any of SkillPages's trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive brand features.
   3. SkillPages acknowledges and agrees that it obtains no right, title or interest from you (or your licensors) under these Terms and Conditions of Use in or to any Content that you submit, post, transmit or display on, or through, the Services, including any intellectual property rights which subsist in that Content (whether those rights happen to be registered or not, and wherever in the world those rights may exist). You agree that you are responsible for protecting and enforcing those rights and that SkillPages has no obligation to do so on your behalf.
   4. You agree that you shall not remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary rights notices (including copyright and trademark notices) which may be affixed to or contained within the SkillPages Platform.
   5. You agree that in using the SkillPages Platform, you will not use any trademark, service mark, trade name, logo of any company or organisation in a way that is likely or intended to cause confusion about the owner or authorised User of such marks, names or logos.
9. PROHIBITED CONTENT

   This Section enumerates a non-exhaustive list of content you may in any event not make available via SkillPages (it being at the sole discretion of SkillPages to decide whether certain content is or is not permitted):

   1. Content which is discriminatory as to appearance, race, religion, gender, culture, origin or which can otherwise be called offensive;
   2. Content which incites to violence against and/or harassment of another person or other persons;
   3. Content which leads to or is the result of exploitation or abuse of others;
   4. Content which according to SkillPages is contrary to public morality or good taste, is violent or includes a link to pornographic material or pornographic websites, or includes pornographic or erotic material;
   5. Content which asks for personal data of minors and/or makes available personal data of other persons;
   6. Content which encourages or commits the performance of illegal activities;
   7. Content which infringes intellectual property rights, privacy rights or any other rights of SkillPages or third parties;
   8. Content which involves chain letters, junk mail or spamming and/or which asks for passwords or other information leading back to persons for commercial or illegal purposes;
   9. Content which, without the prior written consent of SkillPages, involves commercial activity such as advertising, lotteries, contests or pyramid games;
   10. Content which includes a photograph or likeness of another person without that person's consent;
   11. Content which infringes any law, regulation, bye-law, other applicable regulations or these Terms and Conditions of Use.
10. PAYMENTS

    If you make a payment on the SkillPages site or the SkillPages Platform you agree to our Payments Terms.

11. LICENCE FROM SKILLPAGES
    1. SkillPages gives you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable and non-exclusive licence to use the software provided to you by SkillPages as part of the Services as provided to you by SkillPages. This licence is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the benefit of the Services as provided by SkillPages, in the manner permitted by the Terms and Conditions of Use.
    2. You may not (and you may not permit anyone else to) copy, modify, create a derivative work of, reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Software or any part thereof.
    3. You may not assign (or grant a sub-licence of) your rights to use the Software, grant a security interest in or over your rights to use the Software, or otherwise transfer any part of your rights to use the Software.
12. CONTENT LICENCE FROM YOU
    1. You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the SkillPages Platform. By submitting, posting or displaying the Content you give SkillPages a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive licence to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the SkillPages Platform. This licence is for the sole purpose of enabling SkillPages to display, distribute and promote the SkillPages Platform.
    2. You agree that this licence includes a right for SkillPages to make such Content available to all.
    3. You understand that SkillPages, in performing the required technical steps to provide the SkillPages Platform services to our Users, may (a) transmit or distribute your Content over various public networks and in various media; and (b) make such changes to your Content as are necessary to conform and adapt that Content to the technical requirements of connecting networks, devices, services or media. You agree that this licence shall permit SkillPages to take these actions.
    4. You confirm and warrant to SkillPages that you have all the rights, power and authority necessary to grant the above licence.
13. SOFTWARE UPDATES

    The Software which you use may automatically download and install updates from time to time from SkillPages. These updates are designed to improve, enhance and further develop the SkillPages Platform and the SkillPages Platform Services and may take the form of bug fixes, enhanced functions, new software modules and completely new versions. You agree to receive such updates (and permit SkillPages to deliver these to you) as part of your use of the SkillPages Platform and the SkillPages Platform Services.

14. ENDING YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH SKILLPAGES
    1. The Terms and Conditions of Use will continue to apply until terminated by either you or SkillPages as set out below.
    2. If you want to terminate your legal agreement with SkillPages, you may do so by (a) notifying SkillPages at any time; and (b) deleting your User Profile from the SkillPages Platform.

    3. SkillPages may at any time, terminate its legal agreement with you if:

       1. You have breached any provision of the Terms and Conditions of Use (or have acted in a manner which clearly shows that you do not intend to, or are unable to comply with the provisions of the Terms and Conditions of Use); or
       2. SkillPages is required to do so by law (for example, where the provision of User Profile services is, or becomes, unlawful); or
       3. SkillPages is transitioning to no longer providing the SkillPages Platform and SkillPages Platform Services to Users in the country in which you are resident or from which you use the service; or
       4. The provision of the SkillPages Platform or SkillPages Platform Services to you by SkillPages is, in SkillPages's opinion, no longer commercially viable;
       5. When these Terms and Conditions of Use come to an end, all of the legal rights, obligations and liabilities that you and SkillPages have benefited from, been subject to (or which have accrued over time whilst the Terms and Conditions of Use have been in force) or which are expressed to continue indefinitely, shall be unaffected by this cessation, and the provisions of paragraph 1.14.6 shall also continue to apply to such rights, obligations and liabilities indefinitely.
    4. If you deactivate your account Users will not be able to see it but it will not be deleted. Your User Profile information will be saved in the event that you wish to reinstate your User Profile information. When you delete your account however, it is permanently deleted. You will not be able to reinstate your User Profile, you will have to create a new User Profile.
    5. Even after you deactivate or delete your User Profile you should be aware that copies of the information may remain accessible elsewhere, specifically in relation to the extent that it has been previously shared with others, or it was copied or stored by other Users.
    6. Removed and deleted information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time (but will not be available to others).
15. EXCLUSION OF WARRANTIES
    1. Access to the SkillPages Platform is provided "as is" and SkillPages gives you no warranty with respect to them.
    2. In particular, SkillPages does not represent or warrant to you that:
       1. your use of the SkillPages Platform will meet your requirements;
       2. your use of the SkillPages Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free from error;
       3. any information obtained by you as a result of your use of the SkillPages Platform will be accurate or reliable; and
       4. that defects in the operation or functionality of any Software provided to you as part of the SkillPages Platform will be corrected.
    3. No conditions, warranties or other terms (including any implied terms as to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose or conformance with description) apply to the SkillPages Platform except to the extent that they are expressly set out in the Terms and Conditions of Use.
    4. Nothing in the Terms and Conditions of Use shall affect those statutory rights which you are always entitled to as a consumer and that you cannot contractually agree to alter or waive.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
    1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions of Use shall exclude or limit SkillPages's liability for losses which may not be lawfully excluded or limited by applicable law.
    2. Subject to overall provision in paragraph 1.16.1 above, SkillPages shall not be liable to you for:
       1. any indirect or consequential losses which may be incurred by you. This shall include any loss of profit (whether incurred directly or indirectly), any loss of goodwill or business reputation, or any loss of data suffered by you;
       2. any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as a result of:
       1. any reliance placed by you on the completeness, accuracy or existence of any advertising, or as a result of any relationship or transaction between you and any advertiser or sponsor whose advertising appears on the SkillPages Platform;
       2. any changes which SkillPages may make to the SkillPages Platform or SkillPages Services, or for any permanent or temporary cessation in the provision of the SkillPages Platform or SkillPages Services, (or any features within the SkillPages Platform or SkillPages Services);
       3. the deletion of, corruption of, or failure to store, any Content and other communications data maintained or transmitted by or through your use of the SkillPages Platform or SkillPages Services;
       4. your failure to provide SkillPages with accurate account information;
       5. your failure to keep your password or account details secure and confidential.
    3. The limitations on SkillPages's liability to you in paragraph 1.16.2 above shall apply whether or not SkillPages has been advised of or should have been aware of the possibility of any such losses arising.
17. ADVERTISEMENTS
    1. Some of the SkillPages Services are supported by advertising revenue and may display advertisements and promotions. These advertisements may be targeted to the content of information stored on the SkillPages Platform, queries made through the SkillPages Platform or other information.
    2. The manner, mode and extent of advertising by SkillPages on the SkillPages Platform and in relation to the SkillPages Services are subject to change without specific notice to you.
    3. In consideration for SkillPages granting you access to and use of the SkillPages Platform, you agree that SkillPages may place such advertising on the SkillPages Platform.
18. ADVERTISMENTS ON SKILLPAGES

    Our goal is to deliver ads that are not only valuable to advertisers, but also valuable to you. In order to do that, you agree to the following:

    1. That SkillPages may use your personal information to assist us in serving sponsored content on your User Profile or elsewhere. You give us permission to use your name and User Profile photo in connection with that content;
    2. We do not give your content or information to advertisers without your consent;
    3. You understand that we may not always identify paid services and communications as such.
19. OTHER CONTENT
    1. The SkillPages Platform may include hyperlinks to other websites or content or resources. SkillPages may have no control over any websites or resources which are provided by companies or persons other than SkillPages.
    2. You acknowledge and agree that SkillPages is not responsible for the availability of any such external sites or resources, and does not endorse any advertising, products or other materials on or available from such websites or resources.
    3. You acknowledge and agree that SkillPages is not liable for any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as a result of the availability of those external sites or resources, or as a result of any reliance placed by you on the completeness, accuracy or existence of any advertising, products or other materials on, or available from, such websites or resources.
20. CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
    1. SkillPages may make changes to the Terms and Conditions of Use from time to time. When these changes are made, SkillPages will make a new copy of the Terms and Conditions of Use available to you from within, or through, the SkillPages Platform and SkillPages Services.
    2. You understand and agree that if you use the SkillPages Platform or SkillPages Services after the date on which the Terms and Conditions of Use or Additional Terms and Conditions of Use have changed, SkillPages will treat your use as acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions or Use or Additional Terms and Conditions of Use.
21. GENERAL LEGAL TERMS
    1. Sometimes when you use the SkillPages Platform, you may (as a result of, or through your use of the SkillPages Platform) use a service or download a piece of software, or purchase goods, which are provided by another person or company. Your use of these other services, software or goods may be subject to separate terms between you and the company or person concerned. If so, the Terms and Conditions of Use do not affect your legal relationship with these other companies or individuals.
    2. The Terms and Conditions of Use govern your use of the SkillPages Platform and SkillPages Services and completely replace any prior Terms and Conditions of Use between you and SkillPages in relation to the SkillPages Platform and SkillPages Services.
    3. You agree that SkillPages may provide you with notices, including those regarding changes to the Terms and Conditions of Use, by email, regular mail, or postings on the SkillPages Platform.
    4. You agree that if SkillPages does not exercise or enforce any legal right or remedy which is contained in the Terms and Conditions of Use (or which SkillPages has the benefit of under any applicable law), this will not be taken to be a formal waiver of SkillPages's rights and that those rights or remedies will still be available to SkillPages.
    5. When you use SkillPages, you may set up your SkillPage, form community networks, send messages, perform searches and queries, set up events, add applications, transmit information through various channels and send emails or other communications to SkillPages. We collect the personal information as outlined above so that we can provide you the service and offer personalized features. In most cases, we retain it so that, for instance, you can return to view prior messages you have sent or easily see your community network list.
      7. When you post User Content on the Site in areas such as blogs and forums, you do so at your own risk. We cannot and do not guarantee that User Content you post on the Site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for circumvention of any settings or security measures contained on the Site. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content. To request removal of your personal information from our blog or community forum, contact us at support@skillpages.zendesk.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
      8. SkillPages have the right to reformat and move SkillPages, and SkillPage information. SkillPages reserve the right to remove, edit the look and feel of, move or close any SkillPage for any reason and to suspend or ban any User Account for any reason.
      9. SkillPages may present links in a format that enables us to keep track of whether these links have been followed. We use this information to improve the quality of our search technology, customized content and advertising.
   4. Any improper collection or misuse of information provided on SkillPages is a violation of the SkillPages Terms and Conditions of Use.
   5. SkillPages only processes personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In addition to the above, such purposes include:
      1. Providing our services, primarily making SkillPages available to all;
      2. Providing more relevant search results by utilizing data provided by the User;

3. USE OF INFORMATION OBTAINED BY SKILLPAGES
   1. When you register with SkillPages, you create your own SkillPage. We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications regarding new services offered by SkillPages that we think you may find valuable. If you no longer wish to receive these email communications, you may unsubscribe by following the instruction contained in each of the emails you receive.
   2. SkillPage information is used by SkillPages primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the service and to be presented to all.
   3. The SkillPage information that you submit to SkillPages will be available to all Users of the SkillPages Platform. All SkillPage information will be available in search results generated for Users and may be made available to third-party search engines. If you no longer wish to have your information indexed you have the option of deleting your Account. People that see your name in searches will be able to access your SkillPage information without registering with the SkillPages Platform. If you do not want to be listed in our directory you have the option of deleting your Account.
   4. SkillPage information is used by SkillPages to improve the functionality of the SkillPages Platform.
   5. SkillPages may send you service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the service.
   6. SkillPages reserves the right to send you notices about your Account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.
   7. SkillPages may use information in your SkillPage without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as aggregating how many people are in a network like a group of electricians, and also personalizing advertisements and promotions so that we can provide you with up to date SkillPages promotions and sponsors of community groupings. We believe this benefits you. Where such information is used, we generally allow you to specify in your User Account Settings that you do not want this to be done or to take other actions that limit the connection of this information to your SkillPage (e.g. removing photo tag links).
   8. We post customer testimonials on our web site which may contain personally identifiable information. We do obtain the user consent via email prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial. If you wish to request the removal of your testimonial, you may contact us at support@skillpages.zendesk.com.
4. CHILDREN AGED UNDER 14

   SkillPages does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 14 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 14, please do not attempt to register for SkillPages or send any personal information about yourself to us (including your name, address, telephone number or email address). No one under the age of 14 may provide any personal information to SkillPages on the SkillPages Platform. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 14 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.

6. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES
   1. SkillPages is about sharing catalogued skill information with Users. We share your information with third parties only in limited circumstances where we believe such sharing is (1) reasonably necessary to offer the service, (2) legally required or (3) permitted by you.
   2. We may provide information to service providers such as an email service provider to send out emails on our behalf, an author management service to provide you with our blog and a customer support service to gather feedback and assist you with questions to help us bring you the services we offer. Specifically, we may use third parties to facilitate our business. In connection with these offerings and business operations, our service providers may have access to your personal information for use for a limited time in connection with these business activities. Where we utilize third parties for the processing of any personal information, we implement reasonable contractual and technical protections limiting the use of that information to the SkillPages-specified purposes. This site uses various analytics services to monitor and improve the quality and usability of the SkillPages Platform.
   3. We may be required to disclose User information pursuant to lawful requests, such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws. We do not reveal information until we have a good faith belief that an information request by law enforcement or private litigants meets applicable legal standards. Additionally, we may share Account or other information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, to protect our interests or property, to prevent fraud or other illegal activity perpetrated through the SkillPages service or using the SkillPages name, or to prevent imminent bodily harm.    4. If SkillPages becomes involved in a merger, acquisition or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. You can share your SkillPages information with outside applications and websites such as Facebook to make your experiences on those applications and websites better and more commercial.
   5. We are not responsible for any third party applications and websites that you interact with through the SkillPages Platform.

If you log in to SkillPages using one of these application’s or website’s sign-in services and connect with your SkillPages Account, that application or website can access information on SkillPages related to you and your contacts and generate and publish stories about actions you take on that application or website without any additional permission. An application or website that you connect with can generally access the same information that you can see about yourself and your contacts, and an application or website that your contacts connect with can access the same information about you that the contacts can see.
   7. You can report any suspected misuse of the SkillPages Platform to us, and we will investigate the claim and take appropriate action.
   8. If the ownership of all or substantially all of the SkillPages business, or individual business units owned by SkillPages Holdings Limited, were to change, your User information may be transferred to the new owner so the service can continue operations. In any such transfer of information, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.
   9. All sharing of information is done at your own risk.
7. LINKS

   SkillPages may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites. We encourage our Users to be aware when they leave our site that they should read the privacy documents of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by SkillPages.

8. CHANGING OR REMOVING INFORMATION

   Access and control over most personal information on SkillPages is readily available through the User Account editing tools. SkillPages Users may modify or delete any of their Account information at any time by logging into their Account. Individuals who wish to delete their SkillPages Account may do so through your User Account Settings. Removed information may persist in back-up copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to Users of SkillPages.

   We will retain your information for as long as your Account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

   If you wish to request the deletion of an unauthorized profile, you may do so by emailing us at support@skillpages.zendesk.com.

   If you wish to update your privacy settings you may do so by going to the User Account Settings tab in your account center after logging into your account.

   Where you make use of the communication features of the service to share information with other individuals on SkillPages, however, (e.g. sending a personal message to another SkillPages User) you generally cannot remove such communications.

9. ACCESSING AND UPDATING PERSONAL INFORMATION
   1. Deleting your Account. If you delete your Account, Users will not be able to see it but it will not be deleted. When you delete your account however, it is permanently deleted. You will not be able to reinstate your Account and you will have to create a new Account.
   2. Even after you deactivate or delete your Account, you should be aware that copies of the information may remain accessible elsewhere, specifically in relation to the extent that it has been previously shared with others, or if it was copied or stored by other Users.
10. SECURITY

    SkillPages takes appropriate precautions to protect our Users’ information. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Your Account information is located on a secure server behind a firewall. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
