I have worked as an interface designer and project manager in the web industry in Ireland for almost fourteen years. During my time as a designer and project manager I have gained the skills and knowledge to turn ideas into award-winning design using the latest design practices.
Over the years I have worked with clients like Bill Cullen, Des Bishop, Jim Mansfield, Jameson Distilleries, Toyota, Mini, Newstalk, iFoods, Oracle, Madame Tussauds and University College Dublin.

I planned, architected and designed WhoseView.ie - an Irish based listings website.
I worked on contract with Daft.ie (Ireland's biggest property website) to redesign their web presence which had existed from almost their inception.
Currently leading the UI UX design team at SkillPages in an overhaul of our web and mobile solutions.
In September of 2006 I moved to Lightbox Digital where I assumed the role of Lead Visual Designer. I was responsible for all web, mobile and tablet design which went through Lightbox and for delegating design tasks to the design team, juniors and interns.
In 2007, following my first year with the company, Lightbox was successful in winning the "Best Web Design & Development Agency" award at the Golden Spider Awards. Two other projects which I designed also won at the awards, Newstalk.ie and iFoods.tv. Pix.ie also picked up an award; I was responsible for designing the Pix.ie identity.
I worked with clients such as Daft.ie, Bill Cullen, RTE, John Frieda, Carmen Wine, Des Bishop, Lexus, Toyota, Mini, Newstalk, Jim Mansfield, Jameson, Simply Zesty, Digital Media Awards, Mater Foundation, Totally Dublin, Society of Chartered Surveyors, Restaurants Association of Ireland and WhoseView.ie.
In September of 2003 I assumed the role of Senior Designer with Webmedia Ltd. In January of 2005 I also took on project management responsibilities within the company.
In January of 2003, I was promoted to Senior Designer. A few months later, with the departure of the Creative Director from the company, I took charge of project management responsibilities.
My role as Junior Designer in Web I.T. Ltd. involved providing essential services to the development department, including graphics design and production, multimedia production and support, asset management, project support, extranet management & information architecture. Below is an extract from a Web IT press release:

Under Tony's direction our applications are developed to be efficient, intuitive and fast loading. His experience includes multimedia CD-ROM production, information architecture design, photography, multimedia presentations, motion graphics, audio production and presentation, video editing and programming."
I worked as part of a team for 9 months on an ecommerce venture with Datapac computer services. During my time with the "eTeam" I worked as lead visual designer while using ecommerce packages such as InterShop4. I also trained other members of the team in areas such as graphic design, website layout, information architecture and multimedia.
