Design Team Lead At Skillpages

I design interfaces which enable people to interact with machines (User Interface Design). I identify the best way for the interaction to be intuitive, logical and easy for the user, and I remove the things that could complicate and confuse this interaction (User Experience Design). I am a problem solver and an advocate of clean, simple, intelligent and, above all, common sense design.

Based in Dublin, Ireland I have worked as a designer and project manager in the web industry for almost fourteen years. Throughout this time I have gained the skills and knowledge to turn ideas into award-winning design.

Over the years I have worked with some great clients like Bill Cullen, Des Bishop, RTE, Jim Mansfield, Jameson Distilleries, Digicel, Toyota, Mini, Newstalk, John Frieda, Oracle, Madame Tussauds, The Restaurant Association of Ireland, The Irish Chamber Orchestra, WhoseView.ie, University College Dublin and of course, Iain Mac Donald and the outstanding team at SkillPages.

Previously, I was Design Lead with one of Dublin's foremost digital agencies for six years, Lightbox Digital. In 2007, following my first year with Lightbox, the company was successful in winning the "Best Web Design & Development Agency" award at the Eircom Spiders. Lightbox also picked up three other awards at the same ceremony.

I currently lead the highly talented design and user experience team at SkillPages.

Over the past 14 years, an estimated 250 million people have used interfaces which I have designed.
