I have been in the emergency field pretty much all my life, as a young child i helped my parents wire up radios and red lights on ambulances thet they owned and operated. As I got older I went to Ozarka Technical College in Melbourne, Arkansas where I recieved my Arkansas Certified Nursing Assistant Certification it was only a 13 week course which I completed with a B average and was cetrified in CPR and AED. I worked as a CNA for (4 1/2) four and a half years. After a couple of years in the Army I joined a local volunteer Fire Department in Summit, Arkansas where I went through the ranks to become a Lieutenant and Training Officer while with them I also became a First Responder and also joined the Pyatt Volunteer Fire Department and was a Training Officer for them as well. After (7 1/2) years with Summit and only (6) months with Pyatt I took a short break for a year and went back to Fire Fighting accept I joined a different Fire Department in Yellville, Arkansas which incidently is a (1/4) Quarter mile south of Summit. When I joined Yellville Fire Department I started out at the bottom as usual but I was still a Training Officer, I worked my way up to Captain and done the Bridge Over Class from Training Officer to Instructor I. When I first joined Yellville Fire Department we were running 200-250 runs a year and we recently jumped to 400 runs per year.
